Murphy's Law

Mr. Murphy, Haflinger pony cross is an energetic comedian who is also sometimes called "Houdini".

Siesta was born in 2005 on a large lot in Central Oklahoma. His mother had been captured during a wild horse roundup in New Mexico and was pregnant at the time. Early on, Siesta was nearly 400 pounds underweight, his coat stained a deep red from the Oklahoma soil, and his tail was a tangled mess. Despite his lack of formal training, there was a gentle spark in his amber eyes that hinted at the extraordinary horse within. His training journey began by introducing him to the comforts of life: a cozy stall, plenty of food, and gentle affection. As he started to gain weight, he also revealed a special connection with autistic children.

Zeke is a 15-year-old Morgan Percheron cross. He is a very talented, lovable, goofy guy that loves to play with his humans. Nothing amuses Zeke more than to hassle his human friends. He loves to nibble lead ropes, chew reins, and stick his head in his water bucket full of hay. He will fall asleep on the cross ties with his droopy lip where the staff has been known to put skittles while he is asleep. Zeke has proven to be a star in our therapeutic riding program. He took our therapeutic riders to the Devon Horse show and was magnificent.
